La Petite cuisine de Mehdi (2025)

The young Algerian chef Mehdi lives a double life: By day, he is the brilliant chef at the bistro, on the verge of taking it over with his partner Léa – but in the evenings, he plays the "perfect son" for his Algerian mother Fatima. The only problem is that this role has no room for Léa or Mehdi's great love of French gastronomy. When Léa finally insists on meeting Fatima, a pressured Mehdi resorts to the worst solution possible – and triggers a chain reaction where misunderstandings boil over faster than couscous.
